Pursuant to Senate Bill 1115, the Notary Act at N.C. General Statue 10A-4(b)(6)
is amended. The notary initial and re-appointments application fees are changed
from $30.00 to $50.00. The fee is effective November 1, 2002.
The notary initial and re-appointment forms will be available on our website at www.sosnc.com by October 25th.
All applications received in our office on or after November 1, 2002 must include
the new $50.00 fee.
